We started EcoWater Nova Scotia with one belief: every family deserves to know their water is safe. Clean, safe water shouldn’t be a question mark in your own home. For over 25 years, helping Nova Scotians answer that question with confidence has been our whole reason for being.

We’re a family company. That means the same care we’d want for our own family’s water is the care we bring to yours, on every test and every install.

Meet Gary Slater

The owner, Gary Slater, has been in the water treatment business for over 25 years. Gary entered the residential and commercial water treatment industry with training, knowledge, and a genuine passion, and that’s what has driven his success.

Before founding EcoWater Nova Scotia, Gary spent five years as a certified water treatment operator with the Halifax Water Commission, and worked with the Department of National Defence on water and wastewater management and swimming pool treatment. Today, he holds Nova Scotia Environment Water Treatment Class I certification.
